ORCIB (Open Rights & Creative Innovation in Blockchain) is a multi-application digital ecosystem for identity, creativity, ownership, payments, and community services. Palmo is one product family within the ecosystem, not the whole ecosystem.

- **Ecosystem Token**: ORCIB (PALMO), canonical as an SPL Token on Solana at mint `4WtkHh1Gwgd5dc9cfqSY54U2fUZHbNzVLbrmrbvFMGhq`.
- **Focus Areas**: Decentralized Digital Identity (DID), Creative Rights protection, and Community Governance.
- **Shared Network**: ORCIB is developing shared-service, application-specific Layer 1 infrastructure. It is not a Solana Layer 2.
- **Technology**: ORCIB shared services, Solana integrations and settlement, palm biometric authentication, and smart contracts.

## Core Components

- **Digital Identity**: Secure, palm-based biometric verification for privacy-first authentication.
- **Creative Platform**: Management of digital assets, NFTs, and intellectual property with automatic royalties.
- **Governance**: Progressive ecosystem governance is planned around ORCIB (PALMO); fully on-chain DAO governance is not represented as active yet.
